Ayurveda is a natural system of medicine, is a science/knowledge of life which has holistic approach to physical and mental health.Ashtanga Ayurveda are eight branches in which kayachikitsa is the first and one of the most important branch.It deals with various physical and psychological disease like obesity , hypertension , diabetes , metabolic disorder etc.This department is impart under graduate teaching and training in theory as well as practical in aspects of various illness in accordance with syllabus and curriculum as prescribed by CCIM.The subject is mainly concerned with principles and methods of treatment of disease.
