Department provides detailed education on manufacturing quality ayurvedic herbo-mineral preparations. Various detoxification procedures for herbs and minerals are performed by the students with insights into their therapeutic properties and usage.Teaching pharmacy manufactures more than 100 ayurvedic medicines including Powders, Avaleha,Syrups, Kwatha, Kharaliya Rasayan, Asava- Arishta, Medicated oils and Ghee, Lepa, Arka preparations along with Bhasmas like Godanti, Shankha, kaparda etc.Chyawanprash is prepared every year for teaching purpose & also serve the society with the purity of Ayurveda.Samshamanivati, jwarhararka, Amritarishta and Ayush kwatha were special additions during the corona pandemic.

VISION

To create Ayurveda professionals who know the key Ayurveda Formulations, how to manufacture them, understanding the principles of classical shodhan and marana of mineral drugs while keeping in mind the present standardization protocols and developing an insight into their complete therapeutic profile.

Enable the Ayurveda graduate to prepare their own medicine for ayurveda practice.
To develop skills for the industrial establishment in ayurvedic pharmaceutical industry.
